From Poitiers and the North

• Take the RN10 towards Angoulême. 
• After approx. 25 miles take the D98 exit signposted Brux.
• At the T junction, turn left over the bridge signposted Brux
• At the next junction turn right into the village of Chez Foucher and continue along the wide village street to the end of the road. 
• At the T-junction turn left, signposted Brux, and then first right signposted Le Fouilloux. 
• Continue along this road, past the random little bottle bank on the right for about half a mile.
• At the T-junction turn right signposted La Charronnière and Les Grandes Boisnes and go over the bridge over the RN10.  The road narrows. 
• Take the first right along a narrow lane and my house is the last one on the left, a short way along.
• Parking for the gîtes is the first turn to the left; parking for the farmhouse is the second turn to the left. 
• Be aware of the dog as you drive in – try to avoid her she may bark, but that is just her way of saying ‘Hello’ and letting us know you have arrived.

From Angoulême, Ruffec and the South – La Charronnière is 2 miles from Chaunay

• Take the RN10 towards Poitiers. 
• Take the D35 exit to Chaunay and go all the way through the village, past the mini-supermarket and the Hotel Central (on the left) and over the bridge. 
• Just past the bridge the road bears left; take the first right turn and then immediately right signposted Le Fouilloux and Sénillé – there is a wooded picnic area on your right. 
• Continue straight along this road with fields either side.  The road takes a sharp left turn at Sénillé. 
• Continue along the road and over the bridge over the RN10.  The road narrows.
• Take the first right along a narrow lane and my house is the last one on the left, a short way along.

 From Civray on D35 – La Charronnière is 2 miles from Chaunay

• Take the D35 from Civray
• Enter Chaunay and turn right at the T-junction in front of the Church
• Go over the little bridge
• Just past the bridge the road bears left; take the first right turn and then immediately right signposted Le Fouilloux and Sénillé – there is a wooded picnic area on your right.
